About the artist

My name is Viktoria Telnova and I am Ukrainian. I was born in a beautiful city of Kharkiv. Here I spent my childhood, graduated from the university, got married and gave birth to two daughters. Most part of my life I devoted to children and to my favorite job, working in state statistics department: starting from a position of an economist and became the head of the information processing department. Life went on as usual. But once, for many of us, there comes a moment when children grow up and become independent, and you have more free time and opportunities for self-development, and also an ineradicable desire for something new, exciting and inspiring. In such a period, 6 years ago, I came under the impressive influence of PHOTOGRAPHY. I consider this stage of my life to be the best gift from the Universe. I left the civil service, entered and brilliantly completed courses of photography at the V. Lelyuk photography school, V. Ogloblin’s photo school in the city of Kharkiv, courses at the Kyiv School of Photography, where I mastered technical skills and received a better understanding of how to use light, composition and color. Over the years, I also studied a lot on my own and learned to discover this wonderful world through the lens. The process of taking pictures itself became for me the best of pleasures. My photographs are the proof of this, which convey that exciting mood of delight, surprise and inspiration when I press the shutter button of the camera.
