Ancient, unusual shapes, covered with bottle dust. And a fresh quince, just plucked from the tree, which still radiates all the sunlight it absorbed while ripening on the tree in the summer.

About the artist

I, Chernobyl Yulia, was born in 1978 on the picturesque bank of the Dnieper in the city of Kakhovka, Kherson region. She studied at the Kakhovka art school. In addition to art, she also received a musical education. My inexhaustible source of inspiration and energy is the extraordinary world around me and the beauty of my native land. Life’s moments, both happy and sad, also inspire. I paint in mixed media, but I prefer canvas and acrylic. Painting for me is always improvisation. The main thing in art is the state of the soul. After the full-scale invasion, during the occupation, several paintings were painted in the style of icon painting. Most of the paintings remained in their hometown. After the evacuation, I moved and settled in Odessa, and continue to develop creatively. I met Yulia Chernobyl quite recently. And I would definitely like to add that in addition to her talent as an artist, Julia is distinguished by incredible decency, the accuracy of her promises and pedantry in her work.
