About the artist
Valya Boneva

Valya Boneva, Bulgaria

Welcome to Avela Art! My name is Valya Boneva and I'm a painter, who wants to show the world his paintings and make his clients satisfied and happy with their new art! I got my law degree from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and right after that I went to Greece. It wasn’t planned to be like that but, in this way, I fulfilled my desire to paint and be free. The beauty of Greece with the sea, the stone pines, the olives, the cypress trees, and the bright colours took possession of me. I started my journey with pastels, watercolours and of course I got to the oil painting. Throughout the years, wonderful friends of mine have guided me and provided a lot of invaluable help. I participated in a lot of exhibitions in Bulgaria. I also have solo exhibitions in Greece and USA (Chicago). Everything is based in Bulgaria!
