Wax me

carboard panel canvas My “wax me” series is a snap. A return to basics. Fabric is the first medium that imposed itself on me during my first artistic practices. This fabric, The wax, is at the genesis of my art (I painted directly on wax and not on paper or canvas). So in this series I use the wax to sublimate my major subject. That is to say the woman, nature, the observation of a femininity (without being a feminist). it is certainly chosen for its colorful patterns but it is also a sign of social recognition and a real support for non-verbal communication. Each pattern has a meaning and by wearing it, we "talk" to others.
