Description of the Artwork “Beautiful and strong Ukraine”

Automatic translation

The collection “My name is Ukraine” was born in the terrible year 2022. War...genocide of my people...occupation, refugees...destruction of beautiful cities, villages....my Ukraine is in trouble...but will never be on its knees...it will stand and win! The portrait, “Beautiful, me and strong Ukraine,” was written after the shock of the first days of the war.... every single person helped the front and the defense... it is a matter of honor for every Ukrainian to defend his beloved Motherland. Everyone in their place and we are all together! The personification of Ukraine is a girl... incredibly beautiful, proud, sad, but determined and merciless to the enemy invaders. She is dressed in khaki... there is a tattoo on her shoulder... the coat of arms of our beautiful country... a wreath of yellow leather is woven into her luxurious hair blakytny kvitiv...The energy of the picture is the strongest...Ukraine will win!!!

About the artist

Dear friends, I am glad to introduce myself to you, tell you about myself and show my work... My name is Litovkina Oksana. I was born into the family of a military man, a military pilot. She spent her childhood in military camps, often moving from town to town, from country to country, traveling around the world. Of course, I was interested in airplanes and dreamed of becoming a pilot. Most of my life was spent in the beautiful port city of Mariupol. College, marriage, birth of a son. Wonderful, happy years... The sea, the passion for sailing, a yacht, travel, new acquaintances and impressions. Having received an economics education, she still connected her profession with travel, opening a travel company. She continued her travels professionally - she studied countries, hotels, tourist routes... The world is beautiful and diverse, but there are favorite places where I want to return... for me and my family these are Cyprus and Ukraine, where relatives and loved ones are waiting. They inspire me to create. My passion for painting has been with me throughout my life since childhood... and every year the desire to pour out my feelings and emotions onto canvas grows... my collection of painted works increases. Paintings find their new owners, as commissioned portraits and as gifts for friends and family. Participation in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad has become a necessity. Cooperation with galleries has given me many wonderful, talented friends. In my opinion, being happy is easy... it's having a strong family, an interesting, favorite job and an exciting hobby that allows you to creatively express your feelings!!! My main inspiration and most grateful viewer is my family. With endless love I painted portraits of my parents, unusually beautiful people. In one breath I wrote the collection “Seasons”, these are four portraits of our beautiful Lenochka - my son’s wife. Painting portraits of my son in the style of realism and pop art is a fantastic pleasure. A collection of five children's portraits went to Denmark... several portraits are in private collections in Cyprus, Armenia and the USA... Currently working on several paintings... including a self-portrait and a portrait of my husband...
