Kangae is the first painting in my Japan in Gold series, oil on board 50x70 cm. The gold leaf applied to the woman kimono represents her country heritage while the graffiti over the wall textue behind her are a touch of modern in the depicting of a woman belonging to a country always divided between modernity and ancient traditions.

Born in Milan, Simona Zecca is a self-taught artist who has always loved drawing and art since childhood and has always continued to cultivate her passion for art even during her studies and in the period in which she worked. in marketing.
