Description of the Artwork “Ease”
"Ease" is a new stage in my creative life. This is my first job since the beginning of the war in my country. My heart hurts because all my previous works, all materials, remained in the occupied city. I enjoy life no matter what. I am learning to be easy. I am learning to be here and now. This painting is in four parts. Each piece measures 40x40cm. The picture is painted on a primed fiberboard. I can afford to buy canvases, but for now my family will have to move a lot, and in this case it will be difficult to carry the paintings with me. ◽A talented artist from Ukraine Burkovskaya Anna. ◽She was born in July 1983 in the city of Makeevka. ◽In 2005 she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture. ◽She has a family, husband and two children. ◽In 2022, she moved with her family to Norway due to the war in Ukraine.. ◽Anna has been drawing all her life. ◽Anna creates in a very interesting and peculiar manner. ◽ In her paintings, abstract and figurative style is mixed. ◽ She loves rich deep colors. ◽In general, her paintings are very unusual, sometimes with a deep philosophical meaning. ◽Sometimes in her paintings seemingly incompatible things are combined. ◽Anna is inspired by nature, animals, relationships between people. ◽She believes that art should help people, motivate them for new achievements, inspire and even heal. ◽Exhibitions and competitions: August 2020 - Participation in the competition "Mustache Dali" September 2021 - Participation in the London exhibition "Icon"
