This painting immerses the viewer in the mythological world of volcanic phenomena, personifying the power and movement of nature. Victoria Shishlova captured light, texture and movement with ingenious precision, creating a unique fractal design that captivates with its complexity and depth. In this work, the natural rise of volcanoes intertwines with abstract elements, creating a surprising combination of colors and shapes. The painting is the embodiment of a personal process of sublimation, where every movement of the brush reflects the artist’s inner state, turning it into visual art.
A self-taught artist, she worked in photo and video production as a photographer and artist, and participated in many projects of musicians. Participated as an artist's assistant on the filming of Kirill Serebrennikov Tchaikovsky's Wife in 2021. She opened her magazine, photographing girls in Vogue style. At the moment I have completely switched to painting. I paint using experimental techniques, using acrylic, expired cosmetics and spatulas. I explore the sensory tissue of the subconscious. Through the prism of my works I convey troubled times. A time of confusion, absurdity and absurdity. A time when the worlds of past and future intersect. Old and new generation. A social rift in which creative energy is released. Time for something new and change.
