With 'Space', Irene Mitawski takes us into the deep silence of the universe, where mythological themes and abstract forms come together. The imagery-rich planets and their symbolic arcs that appear to float in the painting reflect a journey of rebirth and new beginnings. This work, a tribute to the grandeur of the cosmos, invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a world filled with equal parts inner peace and universal wisdom, a reflection on the timeless beauty beyond our existence.
Irene Mitawski, born in Russia, St.Petersburg. has lived and worked in Hanover, Germany since 1996. The painter works with acrylic in the style of abstraction and abstract surrealism. Her inspiration comes from her own inner world - an interpretation of events, impressions, emotional experiences and knowledge accumulated throughout her life through the prism of her own personality. All images are unique and in each image the dreams, fantasies, perspectives and ideas about the known and the unknown are reflected.
