In 'Waves of Serenity', the artist GEOFF WARKE masterfully captures the ephemeral beauty of a summer sky at Helens Bay, where the vast ocean meets the vibrant beach. Utilizing a rich palette to depict sun, water, and sky, this painting explores the dynamic interplay between light and texture. The waves' rhythmic dance and the sun's radiant warmth invite the viewer on a personal journey of discovery and reflection. This artwork serves not only as a visual escape but as a reminder of the serene and powerful beauty that nature holds.
I like to create what I call "HAPPY PAINTINGS " and this portfolioincludes a selection of my favourite paintings. I was born in Belfast, N. Ireland and have recently retired having spent over 40 years as a Director / Partner in the Construction Consultancy Sector as a Project Manager / Cost Manager on such projects as Titanic Signature Museum, South West Hospital and Belfast Metropolitan College to name a few. I am self taught and use oil on canvas or board and have a preference for impressionism style of art and intend to produce more paintings utilising seascapes especially beaches, landscapes, buildings including infrastructures such as bridges and abstract. My aim for the future is to produce more and better "Happy Paintings " going forward.
