This 2023 creation captures an imaginative view of an Irish lighthouse on a tumultuous day. The artist, Geoff Warke, employs the impressionism style to evoke the raw, emotional power of Ireland's coast. The painting mesmerizes with its blend of turbulent ocean waves and the steadfast, guiding light of the lighthouse, all rendered in captivating detail.
I like to create what I call "HAPPY PAINTINGS " and this portfolioincludes a selection of my favourite paintings. I was born in Belfast, N. Ireland and have recently retired having spent over 40 years as a Director / Partner in the Construction Consultancy Sector as a Project Manager / Cost Manager on such projects as Titanic Signature Museum, South West Hospital and Belfast Metropolitan College to name a few. I am self taught and use oil on canvas or board and have a preference for impressionism style of art and intend to produce more paintings utilising seascapes especially beaches, landscapes, buildings including infrastructures such as bridges and abstract. My aim for the future is to produce more and better "Happy Paintings " going forward.
