'Spring on the Magic Lake' transports us to an ethereal corner where the water acts as a mirror of the sky, merging into a symphony of blues that dances with the emerging green of the trees. Each brushstroke of Mercedes Gordo exudes care and passion for capturing not only the view, but the feeling of being in front of an unparalleled natural spectacle. The reflections and realistic textures of rocks and forest speak to us of a place where time stops, a sanctuary of calm in the tumultuous flow of our world.
Painting is my form of communication that allows me to isolate myself from reality in a positive way. Through painting I can express emotions and feelings that are not so easy for me to communicate in any other way. Painting a picture gives me the opportunity to bring out a large part of my most sensitive interior and show my own vision of the world.
