In this painting, Manuel U.Lima captures the timeless essence of a Galician stately mansion, known as a ‘Pazo’. Using warm colours and meticulous details, the artist recreates the majesty of the mansion and its rural surroundings. Light plays a crucial role, bringing the scene to life and accentuating the nobility of the architecture. This painting does not just depict a building, but also evokes the rich history and deep connection with the landscape of northwestern Spain.
Born in Portonovo (Pontevedra – Spain), he studied drawing, painting and sculpture at the Labor University of Vigo, where he had Luis Torras and Camilo Nogueira as teachers.
