The bright color of this painting is reminiscent of the Fauvists and Gauguin. But it is not expressive, but calmly decorative. It is indeed very hot in tropical latitudes, but the local aborigines are accustomed to this. This is their natural habitat. They live their lives here, make plans and go to the world of their ancestors. The artist tried to feel like such an African, deliberately distorting the plastic outlines of trees and other landscape elements, simplifying the anatomy of the human figure. He wanted to achieve a direct vision of the world from an African native, uncorrupted by the technocracy of civilized countries. The lack of linear perspective and balanced rationality, the sense of haste and digital precision seemed to him the only available techniques with which this effect could be achieved. And we see four people who met by chance in the jungle. They conduct a silent dialogue with each other, as if possessing the gift of telepathy.
