Description of the Artwork “Maki”

Automatic translation

This painting skillfully conveys the harmony and beauty of a field covered with red poppies. Each poppy petal seems to tell its own story of love and peace. Live and bright colors of poppies embody energy and tenderness. Realistic details are present in each flower, emphasizing natural perfection and creating the impression of an endless summer. This is not just a picture with poppies, but the embodiment of the Ukrainian field, which seems to come alive on the canvas, calling for reflection and enjoyment of nature.

About the artist

Yaroslava Dasiv (January 6, 1957 – November 30, 2019) is a talented Ukrainian artist whose creative path begins in the picturesque Carpathians. She was born in a village in the Lviv region in a large family. From early childhood, Yaroslav felt a closeness to nature, which included it in her art and inspired her to create unique pictures.
