Description of the Artwork “What is essential is invisible”

Automatic translation

The essential is invisible to the eyes. This work explores emotional depth through abstract and expressive layers, using acrylic, resin, cement and plaster. The textures and colors symbolize life experiences and hidden perspectives. It is inspired by the interaction between light and shadow, mystery and revelation, reflecting the complexity of our deepest feelings and how these shape our perception of the world. The energy of this painting invites introspection and will enrich any space with an enigmatic aura and intimate reflection.

About the artist

Roser JB, Spain

“The reason is completely secondary for me; what I want to represent is what exists between me and the motif.” (Claude Monet) Trained in Art History and passionate about Fine Arts. From a very young age I enjoyed painting and although my career was in other areas, I remain faithful to my passion. I love experimenting with colors and textures. I work on canvas (mainly), using mixed media or on watercolor paper. With painting, every day there is a new creation and the abstract impressionist theme is what inspires me the most, leaving me free to compose, trying to convey emotion with each brushstroke. In general, my work is characterized by the chromatic variety and the depth of the texture. I try to pick up the color of Venetian painting, English, German, Russian romanticism... Impressionism and abstraction. It is an idea, a memory, a wink... works that have marked me, adding my personal stamp. And sometimes, the color itself is what marks my inspiration. Having a project in mind, it ends in a totally different way than imagined: a line, a stain, a shape... My goal is to convey to the viewer the exclusive beauty of colors, combined in a thousand ways, expressing subtle sensations.
