On snow-white peaks where silence reigns. Majestic heights where pure snow stains. The heavens meet the earth in grace. A tranquil, untouched, sacred place. Crisp air that chills, yet warmly holds a realm where time itself unfolds white blankets draped on rugged spires. A vision that the soul inspires. Beneath the clear and azure sky live winds that call with no reply. Eternal guards, these mountains stand a testament to nature’s hand. Their grandeur humbles, ‘beauty awes in winter’s grip, with silent pause they watch the world with ancient eyes as seasons pass and sunlight dies. In dawn’s first light or twilight’s glow, they bask ethereal and show, white dappled peaks, a timeless lore. Mute symphony for evermore.
Currently representative of three local art communities: Farnham Art Society, Winchester Art Club and the Downend Art Society, where I am respected and regularly exhibit. I transfer images of the natural world to paper or canvas, working in various media including. I am inspired by classic and abstract styles and I believe the marriage works. I truly hope that others feel the same when they view the results.
