"These are flowers thrown to you" is a visual poem inspired by the poignant verses of Lina Kostenko's "And How Can I Now Forget You". Created during the art battle "Paint Me a Poem", this painting weaves the literary grace of Kostenko's work with the silent language of flowers. A woman, eyes closed, embodies the quiet acceptance of love's complex emotions, surrounded by a tumult of colorful blossoms. Each flower seems to represent a different sentiment, a gesture of unspoken words cast in nature's own script. The soft, creamy background contrasts with the vivid flora, highlighting the vivid tapestry of feelings that love can invoke. This painting invites the viewer to a moment of introspection, to feel the weight and wonder of love’s offerings, just as one would savor the verses of a deeply moving poem.
