Description of the Artwork “Atmospheric strata”
The painting represents different atmospheric layers, from the warmest to the coldest (symbolized by reds and blues) interacting with energy and mixing, causing weather changes and storms (symbolized by the union of yellow and blue). For this, basic colors have been used on a white background, including paste to texturize the work, generating dynamism through brushstrokes as spontaneous as the atmosphere itself. In this way, an abstract, enveloping and turbulent sensation is created that fascinates. Made on canvas of 73 x 92 cm. Work selected for the VII Painting, Drawing and Engraving Contest. Organized by the Fundació Privada Mutua Catalana. Since her youth, her love for painting has endured, despite exploring different professional paths. Each work becomes an opportunity to experiment with mixed media, especially on canvas and watercolor paper, reflecting expressionist and abstract influences that convey profound emotions. Her works have been acquired by collectors in Europe, China, and the USA, and exhibited in museums such as the Haegeumgang in South Korea and the Miguel de Cervantes House Museum in Esquivias, Spain.
