Where the Gods Dwell fuses acrylics with Gesso to create living textures, playing with abstraction and symbolism. The passionate expression in the strokes and the mixture of colors evoke intense emotions, seeking to resonate with the primordial energy of nature. Each brushstroke is a poetic impression of life, an invitation to contemplate and reflect on the mysteries that surround us. This painting will fill any space with strength and deep contemplation.
“The reason is completely secondary for me; what I want to represent is what exists between me and the motif.” (Claude Monet) Trained in Art History and passionate about Fine Arts. From a very young age I enjoyed painting and although my career was in other areas, I remain faithful to my passion. I love experimenting with colors and textures. I work on canvas (mainly), using mixed media or on watercolor paper. With painting, every day there is a new creation and the abstract impressionist theme is what inspires me the most, leaving me free to compose, trying to convey emotion with each brushstroke. In general, my work is characterized by the chromatic variety and the depth of the texture. I try to pick up the color of Venetian painting, English, German, Russian romanticism... Impressionism and abstraction. It is an idea, a memory, a wink... works that have marked me, adding my personal stamp. And sometimes, the color itself is what marks my inspiration. Having a project in mind, it ends in a totally different way than imagined: a line, a stain, a shape... My goal is to convey to the viewer the exclusive beauty of colors, combined in a thousand ways, expressing subtle sensations.
