Danube sunset
Oil on linen canvas. The Danube is a river that was once a long-standing frontier of the Roman Empire and today connects 10 European countries. The sunset always carries a dose of romance and it is a great challenge for painter due to the range of colors that occur in nature. This is a smaller painting done in my personal style for painting landscapes. I have always been fascinated to get the real glow of the sun with combining colors.
