In 'Italian Lemon: A November Memory', Maria Mindal transports us to a serene morning on the Amalfi Coast, where the air is filled with the sweet scent of citrus. This painting tells a story of her first encounter with Italy, capturing the intimate moments of awakening to a sea view, enveloped by the fragrance of lemon trees. The rich yellows and greens nuanced in every brushstroke not only depict the visual splendor of the lemon gardens but also evoke the warm, joyous feeling of discovering beauty in the simplest of nature's offerings. Maria's ability to intertwine personal memory with the universal allure of Italy’s landscapes results in a piece that urges one to pause and savor the beauty of life's fleeting moments.
I am an artist from Estonia, my journey began in 2020 as a digital artist and only this year I plunged into the world of acrylic and oil paints. I have a cat who also likes to take part in the creation of paintings (people with cats will understand). My main profession is a speech therapist. I work with children with disabilities. In 2019, I moved to Estonia as a volunteer and in drawing lessons and my journey began. My work is about energy, the energy of nature and about female energy. I am inspired by nature, especially the ocean and the sky. I am the person who stands in the middle of the road and looks at the sky in search of beauty.I hope you too can feel the energy through my paintings.
