Bulgarian Country Charm

The Bulgarian hinterland is very picturesque. Not only the original architecture, but also the “aesthetics of destruction”, since many houses are abandoned and exposed to the forces of nature. So this time I found such a place. All that was left of the house was one wall of the main facade with old wooden, gray shutters on the windows. The top of the wall has already begun to crumble. And in front of this wall, according to the old Bulgarian tradition, grapevines are planted on special stands. I was amazed by the blooming rose bush that blooms, despite the fact that people have not appeared here for a long time. Hot pink flowers, dark green rose leaves, bright green vine leaves and deep ultramarine shadows on a yellow wall create a cheerful impression and optimism. The painting was done on cotton canvas coated with acrylic primer 40x30cm. Oil paints, manufactured in Bulgaria.
