In 'Aurora Rosada', Mercedes Gordo immerses us in an almost dreamlike landscape, where the delicate dawn intertwines with the majestic stillness of mountains and forests. The artist uses light in a masterful way, creating a visual spectacle that represents not only tranquility, but also the ephemeral beauty of nature. The spatula technique provides a palpable texture, inviting the viewer to explore every detail and feel immersed in the moment. In this work, water and sky play a crucial role, leading the viewer through a journey filled with serenity and awe at the beauty of the natural environment.
Painting is my form of communication that allows me to isolate myself from reality in a positive way. Through painting I can express emotions and feelings that are not so easy for me to communicate in any other way. Painting a picture gives me the opportunity to bring out a large part of my most sensitive interior and show my own vision of the world.
