The void is within us. When we cannot find a way out of a situation, we reproach and scold ourselves. The picture conveys a quarrel with consciousness. We punish ourselves for not being able to. Putting behind bars conceivable, we put problems on our inner self. Silence is our good friend. We resort. There is no need to be afraid of it. Only by respecting it, we are able to act logically and sensibly.
Daria Russkikh is an interdisciplinary artist whose work is dominated by the method of abstract thinking. Daria uses different mediums in her work, from painting to Digital Art, in order to better express the style in which she works. Abstraction is a narrative, a process of abstraction from the specific characteristics of an object of the real world. Abstract art is a direction in which visual reality goes to the background, and color and form act as a tool for conveying ideas. For Daria, it is important to build a dialogue with the viewer, through her works, because each of them is an expression of herself. The changeable and free nature of abstract art has formed certain conventions that Daria explores in her works, not excluding the moment of her own feelings from the work done.
