“Terre des Hommes” is a visual exploration of the nuances and dynamics of the planet, as well as the complex interaction between humanity and its environment. The vertical bands which contrast with the circular shape of the work and the different shades of blue, green and turquoise evoke the vast expanses of the earth, the oceans, the forests and the natural landscapes. The presence of small red spots symbolize the human footprint on the planet, a discordant note in this natural balance.
