“Fragments of Humanity” explores the depths of different facets of the human experience through the prism of abstract expressionism. In this work, the small bursts of pastel colors symbolize the different emotions, experiences and interactions that make up the remaining complexity of human existence. Each burst of color represents a fragment of life, a story, a memory or an emotion, together forming a canvas that captures the diversity, richness of human experience and the sustenance of goodness in this delicate representation. Duo of abstract works created with acrylic, gouache and texture paste on 140 lb cold-pressed cotton paper. A fixative was applied to this original work to ensure good conservation. Signed, this work requires framing.
Vinet-Larente is a multi-award winning Canadian painter known for her dynamic works with a resolutely assertive style. A polymorphic artist, skillfully navigating through different mediums to express her artistic vision, her exploration of movement, textures and colours in her contemporary works demonstrates both a mastery of the artistic foundations acquired during her studies in fine arts and a desire to push the boundaries of modern artistic expression. This marriage of classical and contemporary techniques demonstrates a deep understanding of art while remaining anchored in the present. She applies this understanding to a diverse range of projects, from private commissions to public installations. This versatility is a testament to her ability to adapt to different contexts and explore new avenues. Vinet-Larente fully embraces her constantly evolving multidisciplinary artistic identity, exploring new mediums and supports to enrich her ever-evolving creative expression. Artistic approach: - Through art I put into images the reflection of my inner speeches inspired by words, history, heritage, nature, the universe, in short, the world around me. Through color I translate my reflections, I silently shout all the beauties of the world whether they are past, future or present. I constantly seek to push the limits of my art to make the echo of time pass resound. The echo of all these forgotten yesterdays and these tomorrows full of promises that are so beautiful to tell. Rather than overly defining the meaning of my works, I let the viewer appropriate them so that he can in turn create his own story and begin a journey to the land of the imagination.
