The picture is made in the author's technique, which involves simulating the texture of concrete and stone surface with cracks, creating the impression that this is part of the brutal wall on which the image is reproduced. The basis of the picture is expanded polystyrene, on which several layers of adhesive and decorative materials are applied, which ensures its strength and lightness at the same time. Even with significant dimensions, the weight of the picture does not exceed 3-8 kg, which makes it look brutal and heavy, but does not complicate the process of installation and operation.
Yehor Avdeyenko Born in Sumy, Ukraine on October 24, 1988. Graduated from the Sumy Higher School of Arts and Culture named after D.S. Bortnyanskyi, majoring in "fine and decorative and applied arts". After graduating from the educational institution, he was engaged in painting temples, periodically led exhibition activities in the city of Sumy (5 personal exhibitions, and participated in more than 20 collective exhibitions) Inspired by his work in temples, he began to independently study monumental painting and work, experiment in this art form. Since 2012, he has created more than 20 murals in the city of Sumy and the region. I work as a leading professional in the Sumy City Art Gallery. I experiment a lot with different techniques and textures. The presented works are the embodiment of those techniques and genres in which I like to work the most, namely, the creation of textures as close as possible to natural ones and the combination of various techniques that are not always compatible.
