Expectation

The composition is reduced to almost abstract figures: a conventionally human figure in white and a red cat, frozen in a warm, saturated color scheme. They are united by a space where the real borders on the metaphysical. The viewer finds himself in an atmosphere of deep silence, where loneliness becomes the main theme. The white silhouette is like a soul awaiting the return of a loved one: from war, from separation, or, perhaps, from nonexistence. The cat is the only living presence, a witness and sympathizer, and here appears as a symbol of loyalty, peace, and memory. The colors - red, yellow, black - create psychological tension, while at the same time radiating warmth that reminds of a past life, of a home that is no longer there or that has been lost. "Expectation" is a deeply human work, devoid of pathos but full of meaning. It touches the heart and leaves a long, deep emotional mark.
