Birth , Life , Death

From the stage of birth to the end of the stage of development that results in death, every human being takes part in a life cycle that is necessary for life. I wanted to reflect three different phases in my painting with three different canvases. While reflecting these concepts, I wanted to use the sun symbol that I personalized. The sun primarily symbolizes life, vitality and energy as a source of warmth. It is associated with the sun with concepts such as time, life, birth and death. I associated my sun symbol with the color blue to represent eternity in the birth and death phase, and the color red to represent life, vitality and energy in the life phase. When viewed, the phases in the sun symbol complete a cycle as a whole on three separate canvases, just like the life cycle.
