In this captivating painting, Nataliia Burmaka masterfully brings to life the vivid beauty of poppies. The realistic portrayal of each floral element reveals a deep appreciation for nature's fleeting moments. This floral composition transcends mere decoration, serving as a silent witness and guardian of life's most significant events. Through the rich, warm tones and meticulous detail, the artist captures the delicate, transient beauty of flowers, offering a profound reflection on the symbiosis between nature and human experience.
Natalia Burmaka - artist, poet. Studied fine arts at the People's Studio of B. Danchenko; after that, she worked as a designer for 6 years. In 2022, after the Russian invasion, I emigrated with my family to Finland, where I am now in temporary shelter. Participated in several two-person exhibitions in Central Finland. Works were published in magazines Welter, Phoebe, Quibble.lit, Rednoisecollective, Flare, Oakland Review, 805lit, etc. Participant of the cultural residence (Villa Rana, Jyväskylä) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland (2023-2024). She submitted her works for the creation of calendars on the initiative of the NGO "Aurora for UA", as well as for sale at charity art fairs. The proceeds from sales were directed to humanitarian goals for Ukraine. I like to experiment with materials and themes (one of my favorite areas of creativity is the combination of coffee painting and graphics). Searching for harmony in chaos, depicting personal "symbols of strength" (colors, natural elements and images associated with happiness), he tries to create a life-giving resource for himself through the process of creativity. I hope that my works accumulate that resource and charge the viewer with it.
