Poppies of Crete: Miracle of the Flower Field

This 2014 mosaic combines the splendor of color and texture, echoing the patterns of nature and art. Using bold, colorful elements, artist Dmitry Kilimnik created not just a work, but also a template for the inner world and a grandiose design that can decorate any space - from desktop wallpaper to decorative fabric. Working in the style of symbolism, he wove together modern and retro motifs, embodying in each piece of the mosaic the story of memories of the sunny island of Crete.
