In this tender portrayal, Yuliya Chshipachyova invites us to witness the intimate dance of color and light within the petals of a spring tulip. A testimony to love and nature's ephemeral artistry, this creation resonates with the warmth and renewal of spring. The fall of each stroke on the paper echoes a mother's cherished memory, immortalizing the gesture of affection symbolized by a son's bouquet.

I am an Ukrainian artist. In my work, I explore the symbolic connection between nature and the inner emotional landscape. Using botanical forms, reflections, and subtle color transitions, I create spaces for reflection that evoke associations with themes of growth, fragility, and transformation. My work is rooted in the search for quiet beauty — the kind that often exists in fleeting, almost invisible moments. I am drawn to flowers, reflections, water, changing light, and the fragile states of nature that mirror human emotion. For me, nature is not only a subject but a language. A fading flower can speak about tenderness and impermanence. Water can become a space of memory, calm, and inner reflection. Through painting, I try to preserve these subtle emotional states and transform them into visual experiences of stillness. I work primarily in watercolor and acrylic, combining delicate observation with an intuitive, emotional approach to composition and color. My paintings move between botanical precision and a more contemplative contemporary sensibility. I want the viewer to pause in front of my work — to slow down, breathe, and rediscover the beauty that is often overlooked in everyday life.
