Description of the Artwork “Ruins of the old city”

The acrylic painting "Ruins of the Old City" is painted on natural canvas which is mounted on a stretcher. High-quality acrylic paints are odorless and do not lose color. The painting is original and has an interesting history of creation, namely: one day, after heavy rains that did not stop for about a week, I discovered the facade of a building that was heavily washed away by water and just a huge abyss, there you could see the whole history of the city in multi-layered rock, there were also old foundations and fittings and ancient stonework. The spectacle is amazing! I then stood and thought about those people who lived here before us, about how merciless time is and how many such ancient buildings and ruins there could be near Kiev...This is how the plot of this picture appeared. This work is done in the impressionist style for greater contrast and depth.

About the artist

was born in the city of Zaporizhzhia, near the Dnipro, the city of heroes, the city of Cossacks, the center of freedom and independence. I started drawing since childhood, since childhood, as long as I can remember, I loved nature and the beauty of God's creation. I started painting professionally from the beginning of the war, made it my main job and thereby risked realizing my old dream, doing what I love most.
