Description of the Artwork “Polish Lower Gate”

Automatic translation

This painting skillfully conveys the grandeur and charm of the ancient Polish Lower Gate in Kamianets-Podilsk. Vasyl Nikitin managed to bring medieval fortifications to life with the help of an impressionistic style, using rich and warm colors. The complex and detailed drawing reproduces the volumes and texture of the stone walls, conveying the atmosphere of past eras. This is not a simple image of architecture, but also a kind of dialogue with history, which fascinates and evokes deep emotions.
