Kavala, Greece

It was my first time in the cradle of European civilization, Greece. First impressions were vague. It is very similar to Bulgaria - after all, the same Balkan Peninsula - and at the same time unlike. It is different, first of all, of course, because of human achievements - I studied the buildings of ancient times and even older ones in the history of architecture at the academy where I studied. Greece is the center of the architectural heritage of ancient times. 8-10,000 thousand years. Such dates are indicated on the tablets of architectural monuments in Greece. And it can be hard to believe that the stones and bricks from which the giant walls were built lay for so many years in one place! As always, I avoided places that are already depicted in numerous photographs that attract tourists. I was looking for unique places, characteristic angles and points from which a wide panorama opens. Such a place was found in Kavala.
