In 'Iron Bird: Sky Guardians', the artist, Natalya Buhaienko, offers a poignant tribute to the guardians of Ukraine's skies. The painting, belonging to the 'Generation of War' exhibition in Ukraine, 2024, transcends its cityscape genre to reflect on the broader themes of protection, valor, and gratitude. Through the metaphor of the 'iron bird', Natalya captures the essence of courage and sacrifice, where flying rotors symbolize both freedom and vigilance against the backdrop of a setting sun and the peaceful yet vulnerable city below.
Hello, my name is Natalya and I invite you to view my works! I'm from Ukraine. My professional activity is microbiology, but life led me to art. My artistic journey began with pain, mental restlessness and a search for a way out of depression. Drawing became the best psychologist for me and it became a means of healing for me. It helped me to live through the experience, to find my confidence and balance. I am very grateful to the art world for letting me in! Now it's time to share it with you. I paint nature, flowers and landscapes. I always take photos of interesting places and plants in order to later convey their beauty and life on canvas. I invite you to dive into my healing world with me.
