Description of the Artwork “Dark Lighting”

In the heart of the abstract metropolis, Vimal Ambaliya's artwork, 'Urban Circuitry: City Night Glow,' converges the organic lines of circuitry with the geometric silhouettes of skyscrapers, crafting a mesmerizing night cityscape. The work evokes the ceaseless rhythm of the urban environment, where electronic equipment and architecture become one under the cloak of darkness. This piece is a profound meditation on the electronic pulse that courses through the veins of our modern cities.

About the artist

Vimal Ambaliya (b.1986 Vadodara, Gujarat, India). I completed a Post Diploma in Painting (2014) and a Diploma in Painting (2012) from The M.S. University of Baroda. I have been working in the field of visual art for the past ten years. The based on my works are architectural form, structure, space, engineering drawings, maps, and other elements. I am inspired by an urban city that has a rich historical, cultural, industrial, and commercial heritage. The pertinent issue is central to my work. How I transform the city into a visual. What are the elements representing the city? What are the symbols, icons, and identity of the city? In these series the coronavirus pandemic time created in series. So I call "Prakash ki khoj" (Finding light). While everyone around me is locked in the house, the roads are quiet. The world is closed. These various changes have affected me as well. The plan of the building in this work which tries to adapt to the situation. How do we survive? What structure tells us to live in the pattern? It seems that this time is a black period not only for me but for the whole world. I explore various forms, patterns, and spaces of architecture and create simplicity. Its forms are infinite. I play with geometric shapes. I find different possibilities in working with various materials, techniques, and methods. He gives the work a different surface and texture with different materials colors and methods of washing, overlapping colors, roller, and other mediums, etc. on paper and canvas. The intricate shape of geometry calms down and makes noise. The architecture plays an important role in the production of a city. I am trying to reorganize the city's planning of relationship with people and ecology. I focus on many elements related to the architecture of the city, and the impact of various cultural, social, political, and economic structures.
