The wren is a wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) is a species of bird in the wren family. There are 28 subspecies in total. It is the only representative of the family found in America, Eurasia and North Africa. It looks like a fluffy ball with a short tail raised up. The bird is very mobile, has a loud voice. Males mark their vast territory by sitting on some elevation and singing their peculiar hurried song, consisting of very sonorous fast trills. The typical habitat of the wren is a moist coniferous forest with dense undergrowth.
