Crafted in 2024 by Viktoriia Gladkova, this minimalist artwork captures the essence of a single jay perched upon a branch. Utilizing a stark yet vibrant palette, Gladkova juxtaposes the soft pink hues of the bird against a backdrop filled with dynamic spots of color, evoking the bird's natural habitat in a stylized manner. About the artist

Once day I saw Pablo Picasso's paintings in Madrid, there were 10 of them. I was very impressed with them, especially his "Woman with a guitar", because I could not find either a woman or a guitar there. I just stood and looked at this picture for a long time. There was something unusual and incomprehensible about it, but I liked it, like his other works. I recently got a cat and named him Pablo. And one day, I decided to draw my Pablito in the style of Pablo Picasso and I liked it. And now, every time I draw cats, my Pablito is always with me. That's how my "Cats" and the signature "Pablito" appeared on the back of the painting. Without Pablito, my paintings would not exist.
