Description of the Artwork “His mother prays”
This work of mine started with a photograph of a small section of a beautiful garden that I had planted for my mother before she died. I then took the photo and manipulated it to show how I saw it when I looked at it.

My name is Edward Wayne Russell. I was born in Clarksville TN in 1968. I am a graduate from Austin Peay State University. My mother was a Gogo dancer back in the 60s and my dad was a Hells Angel biker. Coming from that lifestyle I have faced many obstacles in my life. Including homelessness and over coming drug addiction. I have turned the will of my life over to the care of God and now my love for him shows in my artwork. I want to spend the rest of my life helping others and spread the joy that the Lord has given me with others. I hope you like my Artwork.
