Description of the Artwork “Self-portrait, Ukrainian style”
A painting i`ve prepared for National Exhibition here in Ukraine. I`ve been obsessed with such native Ukrainian crowns for about a year and decided to paint a self-portrait in the crown. By the way, my first and only one self-portrait till current time.
About the artist
Tamila Svirska, Ukraine
I have been drawing and attending drawing classes during childhood, but later my parents started changing places of living so i had no opportunity. During adulthood i started working as makeup-artist and understood that i have lack of drawing practice so i started attaining drawing classes again followed by leaving my makeup-artist work. I am an artist for almost 7 years now after being teached by famous Ukrainian modern artist Valeriy Sosna.
