Pendant in art nouveau style with amber and malachite oak trees and soft blue cold enamel background. I used stone carving and enamel technics.
I was born in small Siberian town - Berdsk (it’s a Russian Federation, Novosibirsk region). My childhood I spent surrounding by the books of artists, painters, poets. My parents told me about art nouveau epoch, about works of Alfons Mucha, Aubrey Beardsley, Ivan Bilibin and so on. So, I started to take in the spirit of art since my infancy. Some years ago I started to learn modelling and sculpting. The most interesting for me are sculpting miniature, small figures and jewellery. I use such techniques as filigree, cold enamel, sculpting miniature, bas- relief. I use different modern materials like PVC resin, epoxy resin, polyurethane. All stages of creation – since sketch till finish photos – I make by myself. I don’t use any ready shapes and molds. I find my inspiration everywhere - in photographs, movies, books, world around me. Mythology, history and culture of different countries and nations inspire me a lot. Especially India, Indian culture and Indian mythology inspire me most of all. I respect Indian ideology full of humanism very strong. Put it in a nutshell, nowadays I live in a snowy Siberia, try to make beautiful things, try to improve my skills and technics, try to study something new every day. I don’t have any special art education, all knowledge about “how to do it” became to me with experience, my own mistakes and long-time practice.
