Face Recognition This is a story about self-transformation. A beast and a human are bonded together. The beast is blurred, yet highlighted. The tension is overwhelming, but this is not a struggle. The man is longing to transform himself and acquire alien beastly traits, which he so desires, after the transformation. The scene is inconclusive and thus invites the spectator to join the dialogue. Inner Peace This is a call to feel the importance of tranquillity. Indeed, sometimes it is essential to stop running, to look inside yourself, seize this inner experience — and keep it. All portrayals, despite clear gender signs, are not male or female per se but are communicating features and concepts that could naturally occur in anyone. The sculpture seems to suppress the ongoing urge to run and prompts us to take a moment to return to ourselves in spite of everything around. Because one can’t move forward without a pause.
Having received a classical education, I worked for a long time in the traditional direction of painting. Then a long break and a change of style and expression of ideas. Now I'm very passionate about sculpture and modern interior painting. So my understanding of art finds its value in the lives of people around me.
