I was inspired by a trip through the south of Germany to the city of Bad Schandau, Königstein Castle and the Bastei Bridge - "the artist's path". I was very impressed by what I saw and after the return I painted this picture.
Olena Votkalenko is a Ukrainian artist. She was born and grew up in Kyiv. The ability to draw is mostly hereditary, except for the art school-studio. He paints mainly intuitively, based on his feelings and perception, skillfully combining various methods, techniques, genres and artistic materials. The works of art are characterized by simplified forms, saturated, local, pure colors with the addition of new expressive elements characteristic of modern art, which all together make the works bright, alive, real and unforgettable.
