About the artist

My name is Haykuhi Khachatryan, and i am an Armenian artist. I compose in the style of impressionism. I have started to paint when i was still a child. During my career, i have tried to work in different styles and i tried to use many kinds of mediums, but later getting acquainted with the works of impressionist painters such as Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Edouard Manet, Alfred Sisley and etc., as well as being at Orsey Museum of Paris, i was enchanted by this style. The process of creation of my new works is a very interesting phenomenon, which in most cases remains inexplicable even for me. Sometimes appearing in a new place and being deeply impressed by the latter, later I usually have the desire to reproduce it on a canvas. In some cases I create images in my mind which don't really exist. I can describe myself in such words. ”One may say that I am in my paintings in the form of colors. Each one of my paintings describes the state of my mind in a particular moment of time. But if you noticed, there are no dark colors in my paintings which speaks about the fact that I am a bright, optimistic and full of faith personality in life, and in this sense, my paintings reflect my inner world. I believe that a painting contains a huge volume of energy, and much information can be conveyed to the viewer through them. But the most important thing is to plant love with respect to nature and life in people using the power of drawing. Today people have turned away from each other and from nature, because of the rapid progress in life. This is why I am trying to use such colors which only give positive energy to people to restore these lost connections and to make the voice of nature more audible.
