The impression of visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne inspired me to create this unique work of art. I was struck by how nature can create this splendor. I wanted to convey the feeling of what I saw.
I have a penchant for artistic experimentation, the ability to work in different genres of painting. In my work, I often paid attention to acute social subjects, which I mainly interpret in a realistic way. As a painter, I maintain and preserve the tradition of socially oriented art. In my arsenal of the artist there are genre canvases, serene in mood, landscapes of the surroundings and floral still lives. Critics consider me "a master of psychological portraiture, creating convincing images of people of different characters, social affiliations, and different fates." Since 2012 I have been a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
