Description of the Artwork “Verona”

Each city has its own character and colors. In this painting I have captured the feeling and atmosphere of Verona, Italy and its pink marble.

About the artist

Madara Lazdina, Latvia

Graduated the Painting department of Art Academy of Latvia with Masters`s degree in 2016. Creative activity related to painting, stage design and photography. In the framework of Erasmus+ has had Internship in Latvian Pavilion in 55th Venice Art biennale. Since 2010 has participated in exhibitions and art fairs in Latvia, United Kingdom and Czech Republic. Has received several awards - audience's sympathy award in SEB scholarship in painting 2016, Grand Prix in short-film festival “Starmetis” in Riga. Glo’Art residency in Belgium laureate.Held several solo exhibitions in Latvia. Her works are found in private collections in Latvia, USA, UK, Netherlands, Luxembourg.
