Solitude
I visit India every year. During my trip to rural India in jan 2018, I came across this setting. The Indian lady in red saree worn in very ordinary manner was plucking flower from her garden outside her thatched roof home. It was a moonlit night and the darkness has set in. It was a surreal feeling. The serenity of the whole setting struck me. I stood there and tried to absorb the feelings and the nature around me. Returning home I tried to capture the memory on a piece of canvas. I can still feel the serenity and the solitude when I sit in front of this painting.
