Description of the Artwork “Spring in Kyiv-Pecherska Lavra”
This etude is painted in the Kyiv-Pecherska Lavra. The Holy Dormition Kyiv-Caves (“Kyiv-Pecherska”) Lavra is the first and the most ancient monastery on the territory of contemporary Ukraine. The walls of the ancient monastery for hundreds of years illuminates all the same spring sun. This is one of the most beautiful parts of Kyiv.
Victor Onyshchenko, Ukraine
Geboren 1977 in Chernihiv (Ukraine), in der Familie des Künstlers Vyacheslav Onyshchenko. Seit 2017 bin ich Mitglied der National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Ich male gerne ukrainische Landschaften. Ich arbeite im Freien in den malerischen Ecken der Regionen Kiew und Tschernihiw. Parallel zur Arbeit in der Natur erstelle ich Staffeleibilder im Atelier. Ich liebe ukrainische und russische Gemälde aus der Sowjetzeit (Tatyana Yablonska, Boris Rapoport, Fedor Zakharov, Arkady Plastov, Evsey Moiseenko, Andrey Mylnikov). Ich interessiere mich sehr für die Malerei der Impressionisten und Postimpressionisten. Ich bin inspiriert von den Werken von Camille Pissarro, Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Joaquin Sorolla, Alexander Murashko, Konstantin Korovin. In meinen Bildern kombiniere ich eine klassische Schule, die von russischen Wanderern kommt, mit den Techniken der Impressionisten. Ich strebe nach Farbharmonie und einer frischen, lebendigen, mutigen Malweise.
